There were two projects on the same site the leisure centre consisting of the electrical service installation to the main pool, as well as a new learner pool, a sports hall, dance studios and a large gym, changing rooms, a steam room, sauna and reception area. Then the old adjacent sports facility was transformed into a Cultural Centre with a 511-seat theatre, named after comedy legend and former Harpenden resident Eric Morecambe.
Wadys undertook the Electrical Design and Build package for main contractor Willmott Dixon. We completed the Electrical Building services installation including main distribution systems, power & lighting, assisted by supply chain specialists for fire, intruder alarm, access control, CCTV, PA Systems, photovoltaic and pool CCTV.
